About SeaMitchell:

We were founded in 2004 by Charles Mitchell.  The SeaMitchell family grew quickly to include his two sons, Todd and Chad.  With beachfront Real Estate booming after hurricane Ivan, Charles needed the extra help.  Todd was licensed in both Florida and Alabama and Chad was licensed in Georiga and Alabama.  The SeaMitchell boys had their territory covered!

During the next few years they continued to produce multi-million dollars in sales on an annual basis and were leaders of their companies.  In late 2007 Todd chose to go back to school in Atlanta and pursue Microsoft Certification.

In 2008, after the “bubble” burst, the SeaMitchell team re-joined Coldwell Banker and added Emily (Brunette) Mitchell to the team.  Despite trying times for many in the real estate industry, the SeaMitchell family continued to grow and prosper.  Emily had been in Real Estate since 2005 and had recently earned her Broker’s license.

By January of 2010, the team had moved their licenses to Re/Max.  The BP oil spill hit the Gulf Coast hard during the summer of 2010, but despite negative press, and diminished tourism SeaMitchell flourished.  During their first year at Re/Max Emily and Chad got married and the team earned the distinguished “Platinum Club” Award for selling over 10 million in Real Estate and Chad earned the “Largest First Commission” Award for a commission in excess of $87,000.  Emily worked hard during 2010 to obtain her Florida Broker’s license and became the Qualifying Broker for Re/Max Realty Centre.

In 2011, the SeaMitchell Family expanded again when Emily and Chad welcomed their newborn son, Attison, to the world.  Charles, Chad and Emily continued to sell properties and cultivate prospects and were awarded with the “100% Club” award.

Summer of 2012 was another busy year for the team.  Prices started to rebound, inventory started to decrease and SeaMitchell was there in the thick of things selling over $16 million dollars in Real Estate.  August of 2012 brought additional changes to the company.  Emily, deciding that managing rentals as well as sales for our clients was an integral part of the business, left Re/Max and OFFICIALLY opened SeaMitchell Realty & Gulf Beach Rentals.  Chad was awarded the “Platinum Club” award again this year.

Charles retired at the end of 2012 (so he says) and is enjoying the “life of leisure” fishing with friends, playing lots of golf, traveling, and spending time with his grandson, Attison.  Chad left Re/Max in the spring and joined SeaMitchell Realty in March of 2013. He is glad to be a part of the family team again.
